We provide a unique opportunity for shoppers to gain access to exclusive brands, to-the-trade only pieces, bespoke furniture, unique and fabulous vintage, and antique finds, all conveniently available for sale online. Our team of curators personally vet each and every piece so that you can shop with confidence knowing that each product has received our stamp of approval. HOW DO I REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE AUCTION? 

Registration is free. Click on the Bid Now button on our home page and you will be taken to the TLV Auctions page at Live Auctioneers. Then click on the Register Now button. Once registered, you can search “TLV Auctions” in the search field and it will take you to our sale. Happy shopping!

HOW DO I GET APPROVED TO BID? 

Once registered with Live Auctioneers you will need to be approved by TLV Auctions in order to bid. Approval time and criteria vary. If you have been approved to bid, you will be notified via email. If your registration is still pending or declined at least 24-48 hours prior to the start of the auction, please reach out to TLV Auctions by giving us a call or just click on the “ask a question” link on the listing or catalog.

WHERE DOES THE BIDDING START?

This varies from item to item, typically they start at $1 but some items may have a “minimum bid” assigned to them.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY PURCHASE(S)?

If you win an item it will show up on your profile in the Won Items section under the Account drop-down. TLV Auctions will then email you an invoice with payment instructions within 24-48 hours of the end of the auction. 

WHAT IS BUYER’S PREMIUM?

This is an additional service charge paid directly to TLV Auctions by the buyer and added to the price of sold items. The buyer’s premium is 25% no matter the hammer price of the item.

HOW DO I PICK-UP MY ITEM? CAN IT BE SHIPPED TO ME?

As the buyer, you are responsible for arranging the pick-up or delivery/shipment of all items purchased.  Packaging of the item(s) must be handled by the individual collecting the item(s). At this time, TLV Auctions is unable to accommodate packing requests. TLV Auctions has established a relationship with several third-party shippers and can happily provide a recommendation.

All property must be paid for and removed from our warehouse within 10 business days of the auction. Storage fees will begin on the 11th business day after the close of the auction. Contact logistics@thelocalvault.com to make an appointment for pick-up.

*Due to COVID-19 and in accordance with Governor Lamont, The Local Vault and TLV Auctions will be closed for preview and pick-up until we are permitted to do so. TLV Auctions will store all purchased items, free of charge, until pick-up is permitted

CAN I RETURN MY PURCHASE(S)?

All sales are final – no returns or exceptions. TLV Auctions is not responsible for internet bidding errors.

 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE SALE PROCEEDS?

Once the sold item(s) are picked up, TLV Auctions will issue consignors their payments.

WHAT IS THE SELLING COMMISSION?

Sellers will receive 80% of the item’s hammer price.
